Community Engagement
About this event
Feedback is the best way to improve and create community programming that benefits you! We’re starting a new phase of community engagement focused on improving and shaping our public programming on the Butler Trail, including the future Seaholm Waterfront. We invite you to join The Trail Conservancy for an open house inside the Seaholm Intake Facility on Saturday, November 7 , from 9- 11 a.m. to share your input on programming around the Butler Trail.
Can’t make it? We still want your feedback! Please take 4 minutes to reflect on your Butler Trail experience and complete our Community Programming Survey .

Take the Survey What is Seaholm Waterfront? The historic Art Deco Seaholm Intake building—formerly a power plant pump house—is being transformed into a community asset for daily use. In partnership with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, The Trail Conservancy will undertake a renovation of this building and its grounds to create Seaholm Waterfront , a unique space for everyone who lives, works, and travels in Austin.
With architectural design resuming, the Phase 2 project will take 3–4 years to complete, after which The Trail Conservancy will operate the site.
